Brief introduction to the zone |
Tai’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone is a provincial-level development zone authorized by Shandong Provincial Government. It is located to the south of the built-up area of Tai’an City, to the east of Beijing-Shanghai Railway, to the west of Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway, to the north of Beijing-Shanghai Speedway, and to the south of Beijing-Fuzhou Freeway with a planned area of 50 square kilometers. In the development zone, the infrastructure is complete and the investment environment is superior, which has formed high-tech industrial industry with electric information, integration of mechanism and electricity, new materials and medicine & bioengineering, and service system with circulating & bonded processing. Tai’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone will be built into a modernized new industrial zone including Tai’an Scale Economy Flcal Area, Tai’an High-tech Industrial Transforming Zone and Ecological Environment Demonstration Zone.
The infrastructures and commerce service facilities in High-tech Zone are approaching perfection day by day and the virescence rate is up to 40%. Tai’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone has planned and built the Bonded Processing Zone, Bioengineering Park, New Materials Industrial Park and Electromechanical Science-technology Park. There are modern standard plants in the zone for purchase and leasehold as well.
On half of Tai’an City Municipal Government, The Administration Committee of Tai’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone exercises the city-level administrative power in the popedom. The Government Affairs Hall is set up to offer high-quality & high-efficient “One-stop” service to domestic and overseas investors. |

Situation of the infrastructure |
Roads
|
The roads extend in all directions and form network in the zone. The traffic circle in the zone is mainly composed by various kinds of road systems. At present, the total length of the built-up roads is 47 kilometers and the roads are all hardened. |

Heat supply |
In the zone, a heat and power plant will be built with supplying 134T/H gas of 0.981MPA for production use, 40T/H steam of 0.19MPA for heating and the heating load is 198MW, which can meet the production of industrial zone and heating demands. |

Sewage disposal |
The drainage system of this zone is confirmed to be separate sewage system. A sewage treatment plant will be built at the edge of High-tech Industrial Development Zone with the treatment capacity of 100,000m3/d. Now, the drainage pipeline has already been laid along the main arterial highway. |

Communications |
At present, the installed capacity of regular telephone number is about 150,000 and the cellular telephones are 80,000. All SDH transmission nets take pipeline cable as medium of transmission net and build complete communication network. |
