Brief introduction to the project |
At present, the domestic EPVC is in large demand. Its annual import amount is about 150,000 tons, and consumption amount is 370,000 tons. This project plans to invest 400 million yuan RMB to build a production line towards producing 80,000T/A EPVC. It is divided into two phases, including the first phase of 40,000T/A EPVC and the second phase expanded to 80,000T/A EPVC. |

Market analysis of the product |
Currently, the total capacity of EPVC is 300,000T/A, the output is about 220,000T/A, while the consumption is 370,000T/A. The demand exceeds supply, and the annual import amount is about 150,000 tons. It is in larger demand especially in the fields of automobile, building, electron and coating. It is forecasted that the consumption will reach about 600,000 tons by 2010. This poject will increase the supply ability of domestic EPVC, meet market’s demand and poduce fine economic effect. |

The analysis of economic effect |
After the project puts into operation, it can newly increase the sales revenue of 720 million yuan RMB, and profit tax of 70 million yuan RMB. |

Construction condition of the project |
Tai’an City has superior geographic and traffic advantages and abounds in natural resources as well. Many minerals such as coal, rock salt, gupsum and natural sulphur have the characterics of wide distribution and large reserves. They have greater exploitation potential, and provide reliable, long-term, fine-quality and cheap-price resource guarantee for developing salt chemicals industry of Tai’an City. At present, our city has formed salt chemicals industry system that taking bittern gathering and salt manufacturing as base, including many major products of refined salt, caustic soda, high-purity chlorhydric acid, chlorine and PVC. So, it has rational geographic layout and certain comparative advantage to build a production line towards producing EPVC. |
