In China, the production of trichloroethylene starts later. With the rapid development of domestic economy, the trichloroethylene is in large demand, thus, the domestic production can not meet demand. This project plans to invest 73 million yuan RMB to build a production line towards producing 20,000T/A trichloroethylene, and the quality index will reach JISK-8666 standard. |

In China, the trichloroethylene’s demand exceeds supply for ages, especially in recent years, it is in great demand and the import amount increases fastly. It is forecasted that the domestic demand of trichloroethylene will reach about 120,000 tons by 2010. This project will increase the domestic supply ability of trichloroethylene, meet the marketplace’s demand and have great development potential as well. |

After the project puts into operation, it can newly increase the sales revenue of 140 million yuan RMB, and profit tax of 20 million yuan RMB. |

Trichloroethylene has outstanding function and broad usage and it belongs to marketplace-shortage chlorine product. It will have vast market prospect no matter it is used as intermediate orgnic dissolvent or terminal product. Making use of resource advantages of abundant rock salt and chlorine alkali in Tai’an City to build a set of trichloroethylene device have rational allocation and notable geographic advantages. |
