MIBK is a kind of colourless, transparent and function-stable liquid, and is first-class eminent dissolvent as well. It is mainly used as dissolvent and composite organic raw material, belongs to high-additional-value fine chemicals and accords with the national industrial policy. This project plans to invest 256 million yuan RMB to build a production line towards producing 40,000T/A MIBK. And the project is built into two phases, including the first phase of 20,000T/A and the second phase of 40,000T/A. |

Market analysis of the product |
MIBK is mainly used in the aspects of dissolvent, antioxidant 4020, spicery, dyestuff and other derivatives. In recent years, with the development of automobile and tyre industry, the demand of MIBK is greater and greater. It is forecasted that the global consumption will reach 33,5000 tons or so by 2010. It has great marketplace potential since being lack of hi-quality and hi-level enterprises for producing MIBK. |

After the project puts into operation, it can newly increase the sales revenue of 450 million yuan RMB, and profit tax of 43 million yuan RMB. |

Construction condition of the project |
This project belongs to high-additional-value fine chemicals and accords with the national industrial policy. MIBK is mainly used in coating producing and rubber processing, and it is in large market demand. It can’t meet the domestic consumption demand because the industrial and technological level of domestic same-kind products is low and efficiency is weak as well. In Tai’an City, the salt resource is rich, the raw material is sufficient, the transportation is convenient, and the rubber industry of Shandong Province is developed as well. Therefore, it has advantages for developing project towards producing 40,000T/A MIBK. |
