Shandong Pingyang Textile Co., Ltdis a private-run enterprise, which was founded in 1999. Its total asset is 90 million yuan and the registered fund is 10.18 million yuan. The floor space is 530,000 square meters, including building area of 60,000 square meters. There are 2,800 staff and workers altogether.

The company possesses 60,000 spindles, 500 "75" looms and 100 "280" looms; the annual production of different types of cotton reaches 15 million meters and yarn thread 5,000 tons. The main products are C/C raw fabric and T/C 45 garment material. The products named "Teng Yang" Brand are sold in many provinces of China, as well as exported to 20 countries and areas, and thus gained special concern from the clients. In 2004, the sales income reached 120 million yuan and the profit payment was 12.4 million yuan.

During "the Tenth Five-year Plan", it planned to invest 50 million yuan on 30,000 new cotton spinning equipments. By 2005, it will produce cloth 10 million meters and cotton yarn 4,000 tons, realize the sales income of 300 million yuan and profit tax of 30 million yuan.
