Originally established in 1979, Shandong Taishan Beer Co., Ltd transferred to be a Sino-Hongkong joint-venture enterprise in August 1st, 2000. Hongkong Hucai (Group) Co., Ltd and Dongguan Hucai Printing Co., Ltd jointly invested 160 million yuan on it, including the registered capital of 65 million yuan. It covers an area of 75,000 square meters with 600 working staffs, including 380 engineers and technicians.

Being technical force rich, the company invites the famous beer experts from Germany as the technical adviser throughout the year. Now, it has already developed into a large-scale (II) enterprise of producing 150,000 tons of beer per year. In 2004, it achieved the sales revenue of 290 million yuan, profit of 30.77 million yuan and profit tax of 75.15 million yuan.

The company introduces the internationally advanced production equipments, technology and enterprises’ management system. Two major series and nearly 20 varieties of beer products named “Taishan” and “Kritzer” Brand developed and produced by the company have been sold to more than ten provinces, cities and areas such as Shandong, Henan and Hebei. It is estimated that by 2008, it will be a large-scale enterprise with international most advanced level that produces 400,000 tons of beer per year.
