As a state-owned medium-sized enterprise, Shandong Feicheng Refined Salt Factory was founded in April 1992. The company owns the fixed assets of 69 million yuan and registered funds of 6.93 million yuan. It covers an area of 70,000 square meters, including the building area of 25,000 square meters. It has 560 working staffs altogether.

Its mainly products include 7 series and more than 32 varieties such as purified iodize salt, non-purified iodize salt, casing salt, nutrition health care salt and medical sodium chloride. The production scale of purified salt is 10,000MT/Y. At present, the company is preparing for the production line of 200,000 tons of purified salt. After fishing the project, the production capacity will reach 300,000 tons.

In 2004, the enterprise produced various kinds of purified salt 110,000MT/Y, increasing 21% on an annual basis, and generates electricity 7 million kilowatt-hour, increasing 12% on an annual basis. It achieved the sales revenue of 50 million yuan, increasing 12% on an annual basis. And it achieved the profit tax of 10.04 million yuan, forming the local finance 4.98 million yuan. All kinds of economic quota have created the highest level again since the establishment of the factory.
