As a private-run enterprise, Shandong Huayao Fiber Glass General Factory was founded in January 1998. It has 56 million yuan’s total asset and 5.41 million yuan’s registered fund. The floor space is 116,700 square meters and the building space is 48,000 square meters. There are 680 staff and workers altogether.

It has six branch factories and owns two “crystal ball” kilns, 160 draw bench kilns and 200 fiberglass looms. The tech-innovation products filled up the developing vacant of the province as well as the country, and are sold in six provinces and two cities of the country.

The main products are non-alkali crystal ball 12,000 tons, 4,000 tons of weak-alkali multi fiber yarn, 2,000 tons of non-alkali fiber yarn, 10 million square meters of glass fabric. In 2004, the factory’s sales income was 220 million yuan and the profit payment was 24.4 million yuan.

The company is planning to develop the fiberglass products and other items.
