Tianwaicun Route begins from Tianwaicun Square (also named Heaven and Earth Square) and goes against the director of water flows in HuangXi Brook and passes 13 kilometers roads surrounding the mountain to reach to Middle Heavenly Gate Scenic Area. The route is mainly composed of natural landscape and intersperses some relics since it is vast area of Mount Taishan.

The route consists of two sections: first section is road surrounding mountain from the Tianwaicun Square to Middle Heavenly Gate with a distance of about 14 kilometers; the second section is the cable trolley from Middle Heavenly Gate to the summit, which spans 2078 meters. Tourists could view the marvelous scenery of Mount Taishan by taking this route.

Thanks to the convenience brought by the modernized technology, to ascend the Mount Taishan has turned from a trip of sweatiness to a transfer of vehicles. The route only permits the registered travel bus of Mount Taishan to pass through.

Travel Method:
Take bus at Tianwaicun Square, tourists could reach to Middle Heavenly Gate directly. There are 3 stops, namely Black Dragon pool, Bamboo Forest Temple, and HuangXi Brook. Tourists could request to get off from the bus to have view at any of the three stops.

Tianwaicun Square, Black Dragon Pool, White Dragon Pool, waterfall of Black Dragon Pool, Bamboo Forest Temple, Fan-shaped Cliff, Aolai Peak, bridge to commemorate construction of Mount Taishan, Horse Hoof Valley, ect.

(1)Ticket for entrance to Mount Taishan: RMB127.00/person (including insurance of RMB2.00).
(2)Ticket for bus: (up) RMB20.00/person, (down) 18.00/person.
