This building over a stone gateway was constructed in 1620. 128 deities were worshipped in the shrine of the superstructure. At the backside of the tower is the inscription Xie En Chu, which means the place to express profound gratitude for great favors of Mount Taishan. It is the place for pilgrims to thank the Goddess of Mount Taishan for her blessing. Today tourists buy the entrance tickets here.
In front of the building, there are three old tall cypresses called Three Righteous Men Cypresses. The Memorial Stele to the Revolutionary Martyrs of the 1911 Luanzhou Battle is located to the north of the building.
