Ridge Where Horses Turn Back

Ridge Where Horses Turn Back, with an altitude of 800 meters, is between Hutian Pavilion and Middle Heavenly Gate. A stone arch indentifies here as the point where horses cannot go further. At the end of the path, to the north of the arch, there are Shrines to Medicine King and Three Disciples of Buddha. The ascent from here to Middle Heavenly Gate above becomes quite steep and winding.
