
This is an inscription on the large, even surface of a cliff, which is located to the north of Goddess Bixia Taoist Temple. The text of the inscription named Inscription Commemorating Mount Taishan is an account written by Emperor Tang Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, which commemorated the accomplishment of Sacrifice Ceremony he held on Mount Taishan in 1726. It measures 13.3 meters tall by 5.7 wide. All the characters are colored gold, thus distinguishing this inscription from most of the inscriptions on Mount Taishan.
