The trail descending to the basin can be reached from paths leading down from Jade Emperor Summit. Rear Rock Basin is called Mysterious Area of Mount Taishan. There is now a chairlift for those who can not afford to walk. Sister Pines and Heavenly Candle Pine are the symbolic pine trees in Rear Rock Basin.
