On the nine-dragon mound, north of Temple of Goddess Bixia in Rear Rock Basin, there are two pines that both are more than 300 years old. They stand shoulder by shoulder on the steep ridge and thus are called Sisters Pines. For hundreds of years, Sisters Pines unyieldingly stood on the high and steep rock, having no shelter to protect them from severe weather conditions. When cloud and mist arise, they seem to be two fairy maidens soaring in the sky.
