This is situated at the northeastern foothills of Mount Taishan. Driving northeast along Taifo Road from Tai'an city to Aiwa Village, tourists enter the Heavenly Candle Peak Scenic Area. Heavenly Candle Peak rises straight up, like an enormous candle. And the pine trees atop the peak look like a flickering flame. A footpath of steps winds upwards, leading to the top. The whole path stretches 5.4 kilometers and it will take about 3 hours to reach the top. Along the path, tourists walk through the chestnut woods, step over the Crane-shaped Stream, and clamber to Rear Man Slope with the help of iron chains. Rear Rock Basin is just ahead.
